MILESTONE

  • 1971

    ISTW was approved as a joint-venture company between Indonesia and Japan.

  • 1972

    ISTW started its commercial production in Semarang with one pipe-producing mill and one hot-dip galvanizing line

  • 1977

    ISTW added one more pipe production mill in Semarang.

  • 1982

    To keep up with its production growth, ISTW introduced Coil Slitting Line

  • 1990

    ISTW built a new factory in Jakarta with the most advanced pipe producing mill and One Coil Slitting Line. (Jakarta No. 1 Mill)

  • 1992

    ISTW added one more pipe producing mill (Jakarta No. 2 Mill)

  • 1996

    ISTW added No.3 and 4 mill. These facilities are also equipped with additional High-Speed Press Cutting Machine and other various types of tubes re-cutting machines to meet customer needs

  • 1997

    To meet the increasing need and re-cutting steel tubes, ISTW builds a new factory in Jakarta that specialized in steel tube re-cutting operation

  • 2003

    ISTW added No.5 Mill in Jakarta, especially for automative and motorcycle

  • 2007

    ISTW Semarang introduces 6 inc pipe - producing mill, supporting government & private projects

  • 2010 - 2011

    ISTW added two more mills No.6 and No.7 during those years. One mill specializes in small diameter tubing

  • 2012

    ISTW started producing very critical safety parts by investing No.1 Heat Treatment Machine

  • 2013

    ISTW set up new factory in Cikarang together with Mill No.8

  • 2014 - 2016

    Very succesful in supplying very critical safety parts ISTW invested two Heat Treatment machines during these years

    Developing the types of pipe cuttings that can be produced by install new a LASER MACHINE
