ISTW History as One of Steel Tube Manufacturers

ISTW was approved as a joint-venture company between Indonesia and Japan. This was a monumental event where all ISTW great achievements started from.

ISTW started its commercial production with one pipe producing mill and one hot dip galvanizing line

To keep up with ISTW production growth, the coil slitting line was introduced for the first time

ISTW spread its wings by building a new factory in Jakarta equipped with the most advanced pipe-producing mill ( Jakarta no. 1 Mill ) and One coil slitting line

With the growth of demands, ISTW added one more pipe-producing mill (Jakarta no.2 mill ). This event showed its effectiveness in fulfilling all orders in time.

ISTW added no.3 and no.4 mill. These facilities are also equipped with additional high speed press cutting machine and other various types of tubes re-cutting machines to meet our customers’ needs.

To meet the increasing need of re-cutting steel tubes, ISTW built a new factory which specializes in steel tube re-cutting operation in Jakarta.

ISTW added no. 5 mill which specializes in automobiles and motorcycles in Jakarta

As the demands of automotive tubes kept on increasing , ISTW added two more mills no.6 and 7 during those years. One mill specializes in small diameter tubing.

ISTW  started producing very critical safety parts by investing no. 1 heat treatment machine.

In anticipating the growing demand, ISTW set up a new factory in Cikarang along with mill no. 8

ISTW was very successful in supplying very critical safety parts . ISTW also invested 2 heat treatment machines during those years.
